Can I call you if I have questions after the I get the report?
Absolutely. This is one of my favorite parts! Call, text or email.
Can you give me some preferred contractors to call?
I have a few contractors that I’ve worked with in the past that I can recommend. I still recommend you contact at least 3 in each area for quotes and do your own research.
How do I pay and when is it due?
We will email you an invoice that can be paid with a secured online system using a debit or credit card. The payment is due prior to your inspection date. If you are unable to make an online payment, you may come to the property and pay at the inspection end time. Which is designated in your initial inspection confirmation email.
How long does it take to get my report?
If payment has been received, we will send you and email with a link to your report within 48 hours from the end of the inspection.
How long does an inspection take?
The length of the home inspection varies with the size of the home. Our typical inspection takes two and a half hours.
May I come to the inspection?
We need the length of the inspection to preform our observations with out any distractions. You are welcome to come to the inspection, however we’d like to discuss the inspection upon completion. When your inspection is scheduled, a confirmation email will be sent to you providing an inspection end time. We’d like you to show up 20 minutes before that end time to discuss the home. However, our reports are very thorough, explanatory, and easy to read. If you have any questions after receiving the report, we are available through email, text, or over the phone.
What’s a re-inspection?
A re-inspection is when we go back the property after the inspection to inspect that the contingencies have been repaired properly.
Do I need water tests?
You are free to request any individual water test for us to preform, however aren’t required to have any. Typically homes that are on city water have less of a chance to have positive results – which indicates higher than an acceptable levels of a contaminant. Homes that are on a private or community well, have a higher likelihood to have positive results. We believe that is essential for every home with a well should have a well productivity, bacteria, nitrate, and nitrate test preformed.
